So the dixon corn maze's original name is Cool Patch Pumpkins, but everyone i've ever told knows it as the Dixon Corn Maze. It's a bit of a drive if you live in the Antioch area, but it's totaly worth it. This is by far the largest corn maze you will ever make your way through. It's so big that it made the Guiness World Record. This year, October 2015, it's 60 acres. I do not reccomend this maze for anyone who is claustrophobic or if you have anxiety. It literally took me two hours to get through, and after awhile it gets overwhelming. We made the mistake of trying to get through the maze without any directions. I highly recommend you use the picture with directions to help guide you through lol. Every once in awhile you reach a bridge that takes you up above the corn maze. This is a great photo op, and a great opportunity to find the correct directions to go in, and catch your breath before you dive back in. It's best to visit the corn maze early on instead of waiting a few weeks. After awhile annoying punk heads mess it up and it's not as fun (and more confusing to navigate through). Also bring snacks. I got so hungry, lost, cold, and i was starting to lose sun light...while my phone was about to die. Panic definitely set in. (First world problems) yikes. The corn maze is $12.00 per person. Children five and under are free. The corn maze is opened from 9am to 8pm. Bring a flash light if you start late.
Aside from the corn maze there is also a pumpkin patch, Massive Straw Mountain, 1 Acre Sudan Grass Maze, Trikes & Pedal Cars, Signature Corn Bath, a Miniature Corn Maze, Hay ride, food & drinks, and clothing.
