Clayton Oktoberfest

Ahhh Oktoberfest (And no i didn't spell it wrong). I'm back tracking a bit with this one. It was actually last weekend (the 3rd & 4th) but i didn't make it this year. I'd rather hang out with my bestfriend who was visiting from SD. Sorry not sorry. This awesome festival is located in the heart of Clayton, CA. This is seriously the cutest town around and i would love to live there. My favorite part is the drive there along the back roads. Don't go this way if you get car sick easily or your eyes like to wander. The roads are windy and full of beauty! Long story short, Oktoberfest is your typical weekend festival. You've got beer, food, vendors selling crafty/creative things, live music, dancers, a parade, etc! Who doesn't love beer and dancing? Well, i dont but that's just me. For more information, visit: http://claytonoktoberfest.com/activities.html .

If you do happen to drive in from the back roads, or don't mind driving about an extra mile up the road from the festival, there is a cute little pumpkin patch along side marsh creek road. (Down toward Rody's Ranch). Click "Blog" at the top of the page and then click the tag "Fall Activities" located on the right side of the page. This will take you to the pumpkin patch entry for more info. It's called "Clayton Valley Pumpkin Farm & Christmas Trees."
